Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine material and labor requirements.
- Prepare and evaluate contractor quotations, tender submissions, and comparative statements.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures to ensure cost control throughout the project.
- Prepare and verify RA bills, subcontractor bills, and client payment applications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate measurements, timely payments, and cost-effective project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
- Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and methods.
- Experience in billing, rate analysis, tender preparation, and cost control.
- Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
